My newest character is gearing up for Michigan Reniassance Festival. What wonderful weather for a parade in Fenton. Sir Thomas and Eyfeelya hung around for the festivities downtown and ran into a few old and dear friends.
Festival opens the weekend of August 16th. Just around the corner.
My Good Sir Clisto has returned safely from his journey to St. Louis. For matters at hand, preparations are well underway for your arrival and the coronation of our princess.
The coronation will begin at 12 and 30 of the clock at the Royal Stage immediately preceeded by our daily parade.
We have matters to take care of in beautiful downtown of Marshall that morning. The town will be abuzz with a morning Parade dedicated to the day of Rememberance and we then travel to the gates of Marshallmoor.
Our grand entrance into Marshallmoor shall be at approximately high noon of the day, the highest point of the sun.
Our Faire is only a short week away. The local girl scout troup invited the Mayfaire Court to High Tea. The girls, mothers and grandmothers joined in the fun. The gentlemen of the court served, the girls learned to curtsey and a few proper tea manners.
A special award ceremony and knighting for princesshood was held in their behalf.
Following that Sir Nicholas was coronated officially as Duke Nicholas Haldrich. This gave the girls, moms and grandmas an opportunity to experience just a very small piece of this year's faire.
Don't forget we are having a special Coronaton of our Official Mayfaire Princess on Memorial Day!
