It was with great sorrow that my journey to your fair shire fell fast away and I could not attend. I so looked forward to being there and surrounded by all the wonderful people. And most, having missed you and the princess. I also bore gifts for you and her. It seemed the Druids have not performed in their duties with nature as expected. Torrential rains and wind spawning tornado warnings from the night before through part of the next day kept me and my men at bay within my castle after my return through some of it from Upper Wisconsin. A danger no men in armor nor hearty steed need face. I do hope to cross paths again soon. Be well, dear lady...

My having just returned from pressing matters down at St Louis Faire and enjoying that, I can only hope I could be in your shire sooner.
